The Center for Health Equity Advancement and Center for Healthcare Improvement & Patient Safety are offering a 3-part longitudinal workshop series designed to assist teams with their health equity improvement efforts.

Penn Medicine aspires to lead improvements in our health system to improve care and outcomes for all patient populations. Supported by the Offices of the CMO and CMIO, this initiative aims to provide clinical departments, service lines, and entity quality leaders with the requisite knowledge, skills, and resources to advance equity through quality improvement efforts at Penn Medicine.

The overarching objectives for participants include:

• To understand equity concepts as they relate to quality improvement and how to use existing data sources to identify health care and health disparities
• To develop strategies to identify disparities within your clinical area using Penn Medicine data sources
• To determine root causes and interventions for health and healthcare equity problems using QI tools
