The Center’s Director of Operations, Rosemary Thomas, was featured on a mini-podcast about LGBTQ+ patients with cancer and the health disparities they experience. In addition to CHEA, Rosemary is the Associate Director of the Penn Med Program for LGBTQ Health.

Patients with cancer who are sexual and gender minorities have a unique experience surrounding their health care. They may experience limited access to cancer screenings and treatment which results in worse outcomes than their counterparts. This podcast discusses how cancer programs can be more inclusive of their LGBTQ+ patients.
