Thank you to all who attended Health Equity Week 2023!

We held three events throughout the week with over 300 attendees. The week kicked off with our keynote speakers, Drs. Ana Pujols-McKee and Christina Cordero. They delivered a captivating presentation on quality improvement and patient safety efforts to minimize health disparities.

Our Equity Initiative Awards Presentations featured 10 abstracts which we selected to be part of our lightning round presentations. Each abstract was an original research project which demonstrated initiative in moving towards achieving health equity.

Friday’s event featured Dr. José A. Bauermeister in collaboration with the Center for Public Health Initiatives and the Eidos LGBTQ+ Health Initiative. Dr. Bauermeister’s talk featured opportunities and challenges in designing for LGBTQ+ Health.
