Penn Medicine Program for LGBT Health

The Penn Medicine Program for LGBT Health is a unique interdisciplinary program, involving the University of Pennsylvania Health System and the Perelman School of Medicine (together known as Penn Medicine), Penn School of Nursing, School of Dental Medicine, School of Social Policy and Practice, and Center for Public Health Initiatives.

The program’s global mission is to improve the care of LGBT populations by becoming a local and national leader in LGBT patient care, education, research, and advocacy. The program works within the health system to increase access to care, increase quality of care and patient satisfaction for all LGBTQ+ patients coming to Penn Medicine, and improve climate and inclusion for LGBTQ+ employees.
