Celebrating Thanksgiving

Nov 24, 2022

Today, we celebrate Thanksgiving, one of America’s longest standing holidays. It’s been celebrated since the 17th century, commemorating a dinner between European settlers and Native Americans. As we celebrate and consider what we are thankful for, we cannot ignore the long, violent history of colonialism that this holiday represents. Today, Native Americans also celebrate the National Day of Mourning. Stay thankful and stay informed!
